Art Disk Volume 1

Hello and welcome!

This is Art Disk!

Our physical manifestation is 3.5 square inches and contains a modest amount of information related to art and technology. Or more specifically about the lovely things that happen when art and technology overlap.

It is named after the "diskzines" that predated the internet. These executable files were physically shared by enthusiasts on floppy disks and when opened would display a graphic user interface, often with audio and other features, through which the user could access the data.

Intended to celebrate the small and strange interactive experiences that are bubbling up from the internet's subconscious AD also aims to share knowledge relevant to the creation of games, interactive digital art experiences and everything in between.
